At Fruitful Office, we are justifiably proud of the high-quality service we provide to more than 5,000 regular customers across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
What fruit will be in my basket?
The size of your basket will be tailored to the number of staff that work for you, so you don’t need to worry about getting too much or too little. You can order our Essentials basket that contains four types of fruit, or a Specialised fruit basket, comprising between five and seven different types of fruit. Fruits that may appear in your basket include apples, bananas, cherries, figs, grapes, peaches, pears, plums and strawberries.
Where does the fruit come from?
More than 70% of the fruit we deliver has been grown in the UK, Ireland or elsewhere in Western Europe, and the only reason this figure isn’t higher is that the European climate doesn’t allow fruits such as bananas to be grown. None of our fruit is transported by air freight. The fruit that ends up in your office basket is then hand-picked from the fruit markets by our specialist buying team.
What if I’m not entirely satisfied with my delivery?
We do our best to ensure that only the highest quality fruit finds its way into your basket, but if you aren’t satisfied with some of the pieces of fruit we deliver, just let us know and we promise not to charge you for those items.
Won’t it make a mess over desks and computers?
You don’t need to worry about this, as we only supply “hand-held” fruit that can be easily eaten in the workplace. So, for example, instead of oranges we supply soft citrus fruits such as clementines, satsumas and mineolas which are easier to peel and don’t drip.
How often do you deliver?
That’s up to you, as we can deliver twice per week, once per week, fortnightly or monthly, according to your requirements. When we deliver, we will also collect the basket from our previous delivery.
What happens to the excess fruit?
Much of the excess fruit is provided to local charitable organisations. We have been working with FareShare for over ten years now to help feed people across the United Kingdom.
How do I place an order?
You can do this by phoning our order hotline, by completing our online order form, or by sending us a message via the ‘Contact us’ facility on our website.
What if I want to amend my delivery at any time?
That’s absolutely fine, provided that you give us 24 hours service if you are a ‘basket service’ client and 48 hours if you are a ‘box service’ client.
What if I want to stop my deliveries permanently?
At Fruitful Office, we don’t believe in locking our clients in to inflexible contracts that are difficult to terminate. If you decide you no longer wish to have regular fruit deliveries, all we ask is that you continue to receive deliveries until the end of the current month.
